SB Hacks is an event in which a creative community of programmers - from novices to experienced - come together for 36 hours to make amazing projects. The projects are then judged by tech professionals from the industry and from academia.
Nothing. It's COMPLETELY free. You'll get amazing food and drinks the entire weekend, transportation to and from the event, countless amounts of swag, and so much more.
SB Hacks is accepting college students, graduate / PhD students, and high school students who are 18 or older. We unfortunately CANNOT give out travel reimbursements this year, but we will have buses available for major cities in California.
You can compete with up to 4 teammates. If you don't have a team, don't worry about it! We will match you up with compatible teammates at the event.
SB Hacks is more focused on diverse strengths in coding, rather than having one 'winner' of the event. Check back soon for our prizes page for more information, including a sneak peek at our amazing prizes this year.
Bring your laptop, your ticket (sent via email), and gear to spend the night.
